and be Somebody's Angel...

With the economic downturn, our community has seen an absolute SURGE of families, right here, needing help with day to day necessities. It will take an unprecedented, grass roots uprising from all of us to meet hunger at the door and turn it away!

This will happen on August 9th, by people like you taking three easy steps to generate an over the top, off the chain response: Simply become a BLOCK CAPTAIN!

Block Captains do the following:

1. Make 10-20 copies of the Heaven on Earth flyer, put your name and contact number of them, and pass them out to your neighbors - take a moment to say hello and ask them to contribute what they can by leaving their box on their doorstep by 9am on August 9th.

2. On Saturday, August 9th, pick up your block's food donations, and bring them to one of the five distribution centers printed on the back of the flyer - there's likely one in your neighborhood.

3. Ask 2 more people in your neighborhood to become Block Captains and BE SOMEBODY'S ANGEL.
